GM Cabs PTY. LTD, based in Mascot, New South Wales, Australia, is part of the Taxi and Limousine service industry. The company has been in the rental business for decades and has flawlessly catered to Taxi rental services.
They are associated with companies like Rydo, and their vehicles are hired by Rydo and other companies. To ramp up business, the company decided to get an app built. The app was designed for cab drivers to take advantage of all bookings. The booking hits the terminal first, and then it redirects to the app for the drivers.
Challenges Faced
We at Proquantic have acquired excellent expertise in rolling out cross-platform car rental apps. The requirement that GM cabs came up with would trigger us to take up a challenging task. Previous car rental apps used popular frameworks, namely, React & Flutter.
The client wanted the product built on Xamarin.
Our team was able to replicate every bit of functionality right from scratch based on the technology sought and came up with a robust product.
